Command and Control Systems Engineer (m/f/x)

Project description:

As Command and Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting all technical and operational activities related to system design, including conceptual design, design of installations, wiring diagrams, operation support, troubleshooting and data analysis.

Tasks:

• Participate in flight test activities by providing technical support and recording data
• Design solutions and improvements for the command and control system
• Provide general dispositions to system maintenance, including repair and troubleshooting instructions
• Evaluate system health with real flight test data
• Management of ground control station to guarantee maintenance, calibration, and availability

Skills:

• Completed Bachelors degree in an engineering field or comparable education
• Good knowledge of systems engineering and telecommunication systems (SW/HW, calibration, maintenance, etc.)
• Professional experience in a flight test, UAV or spacecraft development environment
• Experience with data processing and analysis
• Hands-on approach
• Willingness and ability to teach and lead colleagues from related engineering departments
• Fluent English skills
• Willingness to travel (>50%) also beneficial:
• Experience with CAD software, e.g. Teamcenter
• Experience with a requirements managment tool like Doors or Polarion
• German languate skills
