Senior Backend Engineer (x/f/m) - Management API . Berlin

As a Senior Backend Engineer (x/f/m) for the Management API at Ninetailed, you will guide our transition to a fully API-first product.

By designing the Management API, you ll be building the backbone of the Ninetailed service offering. You ll face unique challenges like long-running installation and synchronization processes while working with the most modern technologies in the Node.js tech stack.

This is a pivotal moment for our company and we are looking for someone who can create the abstractions needed to serve all our future integrations.

Tasks

To be successful in this role, you ll grow to be very comfortable

• Designing the public API interface
• Designing the next versions of the Database schema
• Integrating new CMSes into our API
• Building the foundational framework, which all future integrations will rely on
• Ensuring testability of the API
• Expanding data synchronization capabilities
• Writing public API documentation

Requirements

Your profile

• Strong understanding of software architecture
• Experienced in building public APIs using API first design
• Previous working experience in database schema design
• You are proficient in Typescript
• Familiarity with NestJS or comparable framework
• Solid understanding of GraphQL for backend communication
• Ideally, you have already worked with a headless CMS before
• Ideally, you bring experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Hasura, Prisma and PostgreSQL
