Data & Automation Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

We are looking for a Data and Automation Engineer (f/m/d) to join the team to continue building and maintaining the DCI's central data infrastructure and associated business process automation workflows. As the DCI continues to grow, we are looking to build our next generation data infrastructure on AWS.

• You implement and manage the data lake infrastructure on AWS
• You will build and maintain ETL pipelines for different data sources and targets
• You develop (micro) services for process automation
• You are responsible for the continuous improvement and monitoring of automation and data processes

Your Skills

• You have the ability to independently implement data/ETL pipelines
• Your advanced understanding of relational database concepts, administration and SQL is essential for us
• You have knowledge and understanding of automation (micro) services implementation
• You are familiar with AWS and data lake concepts
• You have experience in software development (either node.js/javascript, python and/or go)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL and relational database concepts and management are part of your skill set
• CI/CD, monitoring and alerting are not new to you
