We are the Airbnb for campers . Wild camping, but legal? With VanSite, campers book natural sites directly with private individuals who offer/share their piece of land via app and web. This way, we create a legal alternative for those who want to experience the feeling of wild camping - flexible, independent and close to nature. Since 2020, we have already created unforgettable moments for thousands of campers.

Tasks

Your role

• Frontend and backend
• Independent creation of new functions
• Optimization of existing functions
• Creating new features to optimize, improve and extend the platform
• Connecting new SaaS applications to the platform ( API's, REST, SDK's )
• Creating unit tests
• Writing code documentation
• Developing and building a common workflow for collaboration

Requirements

About you

• At least 1 - 2 years of professional experience in the field of web development
• Optional: a university degree or a completed training in the IT sector
• Knowledge of the following technologies/libraries/frameworks and approaches:Node.js, npm, yarn, express, React.js, redux, jest, git, clean code
• High willingness to learn and the motivation to constantly develop yourself further
