Android Developer

Rahantech is hiring a skilled Android Developer on behalf of a fast-growing company in Germany.

Tasks

• You design and implement native apps for Android
• You are experienced in client-server architectures using HTTPS, REST, and JSON
• You are part of a continually changing environment, for which you gather requirements and work on integration and testing of the developed software
• Further, you are responsible for developing and customizing Android HALs and SDK add-ons
• You develop and integrate new modules in system landscapes, you are also responsible for the further development of existing modules
• Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information technology, communication technology or equivalent qualification
• Min. 1 year of professional experience in Android development and familiar with the Android SDK
• Familiar with Kotlin and Java
• You enjoy working in teams, solving problems together, learning about new technology, and sharing your learnings with others
• Working knowledge in mobile UI/UX standards
