Mitigant is a cloud security service built by Resility GmbH, a venture-funded cloud security start-up based in Potsdam, Germany. We are building next-generation cloud security products to tackle the current security challenges in public cloud infrastructure. Our products employ proactive, and continuous security paradigms based on state-of-the-art research in the cloud security area.
We are looking for a highly motivated full-time Cloud (DevOps) Engineer to join our team on this awesome mission.
Tasks
- Manage cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure (Azure).
- Research and implement cloud best practices and standards ensuring high-performance cloud infrastructure to support the system s architecture.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures within the cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to work in teams and independently.
Requirements
We seek developers with a good knowledge of the following:
- A degree in Computer Science or similar study field (or equivalent qualification).
- 2+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure in AWS. Experience with GCP or Azure is a plus.
- Experience using Infrastructure-as-a-Code, e.g., Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Understanding of and experience with cloud best practices and standards.
- Experience with developing using Python or Java with the cloud SDK is a plus but not essential.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
