We are looking for a motivated and creative team player to be part of a new venture in the digital real estate industry and mobile app space. Individuals who like getting things done, who like to communicate and strive to work with passion & care: You are eager to understand the customer problems and curious how to best use technology to solve them.

You will be part of the Cloud Platform Team who is passionate about our cloud setup on the Google Cloud Platform, Infrastructure as Code and providing their service to the whole of Engel & V lkers real estate company.

What you'll do?

• Design, implement and maintain our cloud platform using Infrastructure as Code
• Consult, assist and collaborate with developers to enable them to get the most out of cloud-native technologies
• Build and maintain tools and services to accelerate our development teams and improve the maintainability and operability of our infrastructure
• Improve our observability strategy and processes to enable data-driven decision making
• Develop and implement CI/CD and automation best practices

Who you are?

• Several years of experience in cloud computing supported by a systems engineering or software development background
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with other cloud providers
• Deep understanding of monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Stackdriver, Datadog)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using CI/CD systems
• You are highly self-organized and interested in taking over ownership and bringing the team to the best solution
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics or equivalency in relevant work experience

Nice to haves

• Understanding of DevOps and other practices and experience in applying them
• Extensive knowledge of different architectures, cloud-native patterns and services offered by the cloud landscape
• Variety of experience with existing and emerging cloud computing models, e.g. Serverless
• Knowledge and experience in cloud solution engineering
