Senior Backend Engineer

Tasks

• We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious engineer who will be one of the key employees developing our product and making a positive impact on the planet.
• You will be an early member of the Ivy team, which means huge opportunity for helping define the vision and direction of the product.
• You will develop a product from the ground up and have a huge impact on the success of our mission to make consumption sustainable.
• You will help shape our tech stack to build a highly scalable platform, which is the core of the experience we are building for green checkout.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience.
• You have deep knowledge of architecture patterns and laid the foundation for a scalable B2C system before.
• A passion for collaboration and history of establishing great relationships with UX and Product Management teams.
• You have a good sense for business and always put the customer first.
• Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things in a fast-paced startup environment.
• You care about the growth of others and will be expected and empowered to help others grow on the team.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
