Project / key account / operations Manager UEFA EURO 2020 (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Communication & key account management for our clients (UEFA sponsors) on a day-to-day basis
• Establishing and implementing an effective and efficient project management to ensure the smooth operation of all SPORTFIVE s projects onsite in 12 venues
• Leading the preparation of all operational aspects prior the event, as well as supervising the implementation, operational and dismantling phase
• Collaborating successfully with SPORTFIVE s internal team as well as external service suppliers, such as DMC s, locations, transfer companies, etc.
• Implementing the onsite infrastructure, creating and supervising schedules for staff and transfers
• Coordinating and leading SPORTFIVE s staff in the respective UEFA EURO 2020 venues, e.g. venue managers
• Ensuring the accurate and timely flow of information within the SPORTFIVE Travel team

Requirements

• Completed professional training or a relevant degree, as well as professional experience as event / travel or operations manager in an agency or corresponding corporate area
• Experience in the conception, organization and implementation of big events
• Above-average willingness to provide service, customer-orientation and strong organizational talent with high standards of quality
• Independent, reliable and precise work with internal and external service providers
• Ability to work under pressure, resistance to stress and flexibility, as well as a confident and likeable demeanour
• Very good English skills, German desirable
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
