Position: Panel Technician
The employing company is one of the largest independent Automotive Accident Repair Groups in the UK, with 12 state of the art sites located across South Wales, Bristol, Hereford and the Midlands.
JobSpecifics:
-Salary of 13 per hour
-40/45 hrs per week (Mon Fri)
-Overtime Available

Job Description:These job holders repair and replace road vehicle body panels from cosmetic to full structural. Measuring and Straightening Chassis Alignment to ensure each vehicle is safe to return to the road. Including the removal and refitting of interior and exterior trims and fitting to vehicle bodies.
Duties Include:
Diagnose job requirements or ascertain work specifications from drawings or instructions (repair methods suitable to the repair task)
Selects, cuts, shape and assembles materials to form parts of vehicle underframe, framework and body
Repairs damage to chassis and engine mountings using hydraulic rams, jacks and jigs
Hammers out dents in bodywork, fills in small depressions or corroded areas in solder, plastic or other filler compound and replaces body panels using hand and power tools
Installs and repairs interior fittings including seats, seatbelts and fascia in cars, sinks and special features in caravans and mobile shops
Positions, secures and repairs external fittings including windows, doors, door handles, catches and rood attachments
Comply at all times with Company Policies and instructions at all times, specifically those on Health and Safety, working safely and efficiently at all times with customers, colleague and suppliers
Adhering as well to rules regarding the use of PPE, Security, Parking and Driving onsite
Adherence to the Company s Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy at all times
Maintaining and upskilling current knowledge of the industry
Report immediately any breach of Company Policy, Equipment failure/damage, queries of concerns you have to your Manager
Perform in a suitable manner any other tasks and duties reasonably required of you
Skills Required:There are no formal academic entry, Off and on the job training is provided.

These positions offer Visa sponsorship for candidates outside of the United Kingdom.
Job Specifics:
-Salary: 13 per hour
-40 hour working week

Responsibilities Car Panel Beater daily duties include:

Vehicle manufacturer training
The Role:
Car Spray Painter activities include:
Diagnose requirements needed for the paintwork
Prepare and refinish car body panels
Apply various coatings and finishes e.g. base coat and pearlescent finishes
Fill body depressions on the vehicle panels
Follow company policies and procedures
Comply with PPE and Health and Safety guidelines
Requirements:
The ideal Car Spray Painter: 2+ years of experience using:
Hand tools e.g. DA Sander
Seam sealing equipment
HVLOP spray guns
Polishing systems
Paint systems Personal Attributes
Great attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to pass the IELTS with a level 4.0 if applying from outside the UK
