You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur Client is an industry leader, specializing in the design and manufacture of welding systems and precision welding power supplies. We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of E-Tech and who are interested in working in our manufacturing facilities and/or travelling to various client sites for extended periods of time to support our projects.
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Troubleshooting, installing, setting up and repairing automated welding equipment
Maintaining equipment service logs
Maintaining spare parts lists
Installing, setting up and commissioning equipment at site at production facilities
Completing quality testing of robotic welding systems
Providing equipment maintenance and calibration support for fleet of equipment
Intermittent lifting up to 50lb
Occasionally working in confined spaces, at heights or other potentially hazardous worksites
Regular travel within North America, including the Golden Horseshoe, to customer sites anticipated to be at least (50% of the time). May be required to travel on 48 hours notice
Occasional international travel to customer sites for extended periods of time
Working in nuclear facilities and/or oil and gas installations
Required to support both day and night shifts while at customer sites
Key Skill Requirements:
Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Solid customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Organized and project driven
Strong multi-tasker
