SAP FICO/COPA Consultant - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Help the project team in developing solutions for clients
  

• Contribute to the evaluation and design of application and/or technical architectures
  

• Contribute to the development of project solutions as part of a team effort
  

• Ensure that assignments are completed within budget, meet project deadlines, and make and maintain sensible choices
  

• Ensure billing efficiency and compliance with all administrative requirements.
  

• Keep the project management informed about the direction of the project and the concerns of the client
  

• Develop reliable solutions that are compliant with specifications and standards, and execute them
  

• Learn SAP methodologies, tools, standards, and techniques
  

• Ability to understand the business and technical environments of clients
  

• Ensures that project documentation is complete, demonstrates effective organizational skills, and requires minimal supervision
  

• Meets quality standards, prioritizes own activities based on a project plan and budget
  

• Providing project team leaders with updates on progress and difficulties encountered and providing value-added insight and understanding.
  

Work Experience

• A minimum of 8 to 12 years experience with SAP Finance (S/4 HANA Finance - Simple Finance - FICO).
  

• Participated in 2-3 Full Cycle Implementation projects involving SAP CO
  

• Experience configuring SAP CO modules such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit and Loss Accounting.
  

• The candidate should have experience with standard costing
  

• Extensive experience with standard costs is required
  

• Actual costing knowledge and understanding
  

• Experience in developing, deploying, and supporting global solutions
  

• A working knowledge of BI tools is a plus
  

• Any knowledge of business intelligence solutions is valuable
  

• An academic background in finance/economics or information technology
  

• Configuration of the system according to the Solution Design & Configuration Workbook / Business Blueprint
  

• The preparation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts
  

• Create tickets, research notes, and review release notes using Service Marketplace.
  

Business Skills

• Writing and verbal communication skills that are clear and concise
  

• Understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio from the Microsoft Office suite.
  

• An understanding of the business processes within the focus area or SAP module
  

• You are responsible for conducting detailed research and performing detailed tasks.
  

• Strong analytical skills.
  

• Ability to identify touch points between SAP modules/applications and understand their business functionality.

• The ability to explain ideas and concepts to other members of the project team and clients.

• Implements packaged technology in the clients business environment using consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solutions expertise.
  

• Design and implement processes and solutions to optimize performance in collaboration with client technical/functional teams.
  

• Assist teams in discovering, understanding, and resolving anomalies to ensure quality in solutions and delivery.
  

• Assist/manage key client engagement teams regarding SAP S/4 HANA Finance -Simple Finance -FICO implementations
  

• Business needs will be captured and translated into functional specifications by you
  

• Maintain a high level of product knowledge while eager to learn about other solutions
  

• Consult customers on SAPs Controlling and Financial processes
  

• Your role will be to assist customers in making decisions
  

• Provide product training to clients
