My client is a fast paced startup E-commerce platform that is all about delivering the best value to customers while making the shopping experience fun. Due to expansion they are in need of an Inventory Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Inventory Officer main focus will be keeping inventory up to date.
- You will work with assigned price lists, updating them in the most efficient and timely manner ensuring that there are no out-stock products on the company s website and maintaining good quality of the uploads.
- Keeping the inventory available up to date;
- Taking full responsibility for assigned price lists;
- Adhering to the company s new product uploads standards - quality of pictures, descriptions, features, deliveries and pricing;
- Reviewing inventory prices in order to keep them competitive, as well as allowing for healthy profit margins;
- Reviewing work of Interns and other team members related to the assigned price lists;
- Keeping trackers updated;
- Meeting monthly targets as assigned to you;
- Taking full ownership of assigned orders execution from start to finish;
- Management of order delivery - arranging for the appropriate delivery method and making sure it s timely, secure and cost efficient;
- Reporting issues & feedback gained while executing an order;
- Evaluating vendors, deliveries, shipments and product orders to improve inventory control and related procedures;
- Filing daily and weekly reports as required;
- Actively participating in internal meetings;
- Following all company policies as communicated to the employee;
- Performing any other task that is assigned by the supervisors.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong customer service and inter-personal skills
- Strong organizational skill
- Manages time efficiently
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Retail sales experience is an added advantage
