Job Description
NoPo Nanotechnologies is the manufacturer of the worlds smallest diameter nanotubes called HiPCO Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes. NoPo focuses on improving lives with breakthrough Water Filtration, high capacity Batteries, faster Electronics and more. With the help of grants from IDEX and ANIC, NoPos Water Team has developed Indias first high performance SWCNT based Desalination membranes and Wastewater purification membranes.
We are looking for a passionate and responsible candidate for the position of Senior Scientist to work on the Water applications. The main scope of work is:
- Fine tuning of the membrane fabrication system
- Parameter control to achieve highest performance
- Production of membranes as per order
- Nanotube functionalization
- Basic analysis of Nanotubes
- Basic analysis of membranes
- Testing and packing of membranes
- Interviewing candidates
- Task Planning and Assigning
- Customer interaction
- Responsible for meeting targets and deliveries
Note:
1. The candidate has to go through a mandatory 3 month probationary period.
2. In case of resignation, the candidate has to serve a notice period of 3 months.
Requirements
Qualification:
BSc/MSc/BTech/MTech/PhD in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Material Science,Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics, Polymer Science, Biotechnology
Skills:
- Communication in English -Proficient in English language, Complex vocabulary, Engineering English
- Leadership -Takes Initiative, Responsible for Actions
- Qualities - Integrity, GratitudeTo the Team Members
- Discipline - Complete tasks before due date
- Planning -Assign tasks & Accountable, Prepare weekly plans
- Safety -Paramedic Course, Doctor Interaction
- Reporting -Update Documentation
- Maintenance - Knowledge on how are steps created in maintenance
- Analysis -Use Tools to do regression analysis
- Process - Suggest improvements on the processes created by the Lead Scientist
- Technology -Membrane Advanced knowledge like Water Transport, Diffusion model, Darcys Law, 1-D Wire Simulation
- R&D Methods - Literature Search, Peer Review, Hypothesis, Experimentation, Ability to find any information from Google, Library, Forums, peer
- Experiments - Carrying out the SOP perfectly and suggesting improvements
- Purchase - Understand Pricing Theory
- Negotiation -Cultural Tactics based Negotiation skills
- Sales - Lead Generation, Sign Analysis Data and ensure compliance, Pricing Principles
- Customer Satisfaction - Interacting with Customer, Understand Requirements, Provide Samples
