Project Manager

As a ProjectManager, your role typically involves managing a set of programming teams and achieve sprint/project milestones. It usually involves managing a set of teams that work together to deliver in sprints. This usually involves managing a front end/ backend/QA/devops. You would be responsible for the commitments of your team in terms of time, effort and quality of work. You would also be responsible for their performance evaluation of your team leads/team members. You would likely be a part of a larger offshore team and are expected to work collaboratively with your peers onsite and offshore to deliver milestone/sprint-based deliverables.

Typical activities that would be expected are

• Deliver as per the scope provided by the delivery leads/onsite managers
  
• Active staff the team, anticipate capacity needs and plan and work across cross functional teams of the organization.
  
• Act as a single point of contact for our customers for their milestones/scrum tasks
  
• Understand and propose relevant solutions/improvements for the customer engagement
  
• Actively participate in the discussions/scrum meetings to comprehend and understand your scope of work and deliver as per the estimates/commitments of the team
  
• Proactively reach out to others when you need assistance
  
• Manage a set of team member in understanding their estimates, monitoring their quality of work and ensuring as a team you meet the project deadlines
  
• Actively guide the team members and up skill them
  
• Assign KRAs, monitor and evaluate team members job performance
  

Requirements

• Exhibit strong leadership skills to the team to meet their goals and objectives
  
• Technical understanding on the related technologies and tools in the project
  
• Worked in an Agile-Scrum methodologies-based project
  
• Attention to details while resolving problems
  
• Ability to think strategically
  
• High level technical knowledge on the Cloud Infrastructure and Deployment process

• Accountable for the technical delivery of the project handled
  
• Have high level understanding of cross functional systems and architecture
  
• Ensures the team follows Coding standards and guidelines
  
• Understands Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  
• Works with diverse team and manages talent in the delivery team
  
• Ensure the team members are working efficiently towards the goals set for the project
  
• Participates in technical reviews of the application
  
• Reviews the Estimations prepared by the Delivery Team
  
• Ensures the project runs on schedule and on budget
  
• Answers any technical questions posted by the team
  
• Research on technology trends and evaluating the technology options for each project
  
• Positive outlook in meeting challenges and proactively clears off obstacles
  
• Defines the Release cycle sorting out the dependencies
  
• Communicates to stakeholders on the project health and any technology needs
