Software Engineer - Backend (Laravel / PHP)

Main Purpose:

Will be responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to code the server side of the project web applications. improving our team's developer experience, addressing our organizational security needs, and participating in collaborative decision-making about our architecture.

Responsibilities:

Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks

.

To Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

.

Design high-performance and robust APIs to support mobile clients.

.

Ensure collaboration with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

.

To overview and develop ideas for new products or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.

.

Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages as aligned with company or department goals, and better assist other team members.

.

Perform code review on teammate s work.

.

Mentor other team members.

Skills:

Programming Language & Frameworks: PHP, Laravel, Lumen

Excellent Database knowledge

Experience with Cloud Platforms (Amazon AWS / Oracle Cloud)

Strong ability to work with APIs, Microservices

knowledge in frontend technologies is a plus: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue, Angular

Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong communication skills

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.

.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience working PHP and Laravel.

.

Fluency in Arabic and English.
