2+ years of direct, hands-on accounting, payroll, and monthly close experience
Strong analytical skills coupled with knowledge of spreadsheets, accounting software packages, and other related financial analysis tools
Excellent time management skills and adherence to strict deadlines
Ability to define problems and articulate solutions in a clear, concise, and consultative manner across all levels of management
Internal and external training opportunities may be available for candidates that do not have all the required skills, i.e., there could be on-the-job training for some of the requirements above for an otherwise truly exceptional candidate.
Successful completion of a pre-employment third-party background check, drug test and credit check
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or Associate degree (preferably in accounting.)
Experience in a government contracting financial support capacity
Familiarity with Google Centric Business tools as well as Excel capabilities.
Experience with Quickbooks or other standard Government Contract (GovCon) accounting systems (Costpoint, Jamis Prime, Unanet, etc.)
Direct, hands-on payroll experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable payroll system
Knowledge of payroll compliance
Prior U.S. Military Service
