Job Description
Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates ofPiping Material Engineer for an onshore projectbased in Malaysia.
Mission:
Ensure the good design of the material of the piping network both at technical and cost level Issue technical part of inquiries, bid analysis and order for piping components Interface with other Piping specialists, project specialists and designers Refer to project piping and layout lead and to head of piping material section
Tasks:
The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements Tasks include: A - Development Technology know how and Commercial support B - Feasibility C - Bidd ing phase / Commercial proposal development Select critical material Estimate cost D - Project Execution Be responsible for the quality, respect of budget and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks Review the Client technical documentation and requirements Be responsible for the design of all piping components Issue project piping material specification and piping components data sheets Perform wall thickness calculations of pipes Issue technical specification for requisition of all piping components Issue technical bid evaluation for piping components offers Review and approve vendors documents Maintain project technical files and update Company standards Perform the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section.
