Houston Ship Channel Outside Sales Account Manager

Detection & Measurement Systems,a leading industrial safety instrumentation and analytical equipment supplier in Texas, is seeking motivated individuals with a passion for building relationships and sales to join our outside sales team.

This position is for Houston-based location serving the Houston ship channel area. Ideally, an individual with 5+ years in industrial sales and applying skills in several markets.

A successful salesperson in this role will have the following skills:

• Proven track record of sales success and leadership 5+ years experience preferred
  
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills
  
• Experience with safety equipment and/or industrial instrumentation
  
• Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals with autonomy
  

Expectations for our Sales Team:

• Prospecting for new potential customers and expanding existing customer base
  
• Networking and building relationships with our Team, our principals, and customers
  
• Conducting introductory in-person meetings with potential customers
  
• Understanding customer requirements to develop best fit solutions
  
• Collaborate well with our Houston-based inside sales team
