Job Summary:
Peak Design continues to grow at a rapid pace and with that, so does the workload of our finance team and the needs of our office. They are looking to fill a 40 hour a week position to assist our finance team in overseeing the operations of the accounting department. As a member of the team, this person will interact directly with the VP of Finance and the CFO on various assignments and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable:
- Match incoming wires to customer invoices in the PD accounting system
- Manage AR communications related to invoice reconciliation and payment discrepancies
- Handle collection actions, including reporting of pat due invoices for insurance claims
- Load in bills and expenses into processing platform for payment
- Reconcile bills owed by Peak Design from various vendors
- Assist in Year-End Close cycle:
- Help reconcile PD accounting books against the banks books and records
- Process bank incoming/outgoing bank transactions against the Profit and Loss statement
Requirements
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel
- Must have an experience with basic accounting principles
- Comfortable navigating general ledgers, income statements, balance sheets, etc.
- Amenable to work from 1am to 10am, MNL
- Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
- Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
