Job Description



Overview


Our Fortune 100 Client is seeking a Director for their New York City office. The team is focused on creating products that are the best choice for customers. This includes developing innovative business financing and supplier payment solutions to meet customer needs, bringing new products to market, and managing the performance of portfolios.

An important part of the B2B Payments distribution strategy is to partner with companies so our client can accelerate investments in the B2B payments space to better serve customers and offer best-in-class digital payment solutions. These partnerships allow them to embed their products such as invoicing and virtual cards into established buyer and supplier experiences that will address customers digital payments and operational needs.

The Director will play a significant role in ensuring flawless connectivity between the Partners and platforms. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with external partners and internal product development and engineering teams to get new and existing partners to the launch line and beyond. This person will lead a team of experienced product development managers that will design solutions and end-to-end integration plans of digital payment products with various partners globally to ensure a seamless customer experience. This team is also responsible for ongoing product development with the client partner, including solution enhancements and maintenance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical integration between new and existing Partners
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product design and implementation to drive successful usage for both partners and customers
  • Work closely with Technology as a key partner interfacing back with business teams to oversee and ensure best-in-class delivery and customer outcomes
  • Partner with regulatory stakeholders to understand and incorporate key requirements into integration launches
  • Serve as a consultant on technical implementation design in collaboration with the Partner s engineering teams during the pre-launch scoping phase
  • Oversee partner testing and serve as key point of contact for troubleshooting and Q/A
  • Develop and track testing and implementation plans
  • Develop strong, integrated relationships with other internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management, among others, to shepherd partners through the development process
  • Build, lead, and support a dynamic, high-performing team of managers
  • Manage compliance review processes related to Partner Integrations
  • Assist the Vice President with special projects as needed as well as prepare for senior leadership presentations and updates


Minimum Qualifications


  • Self-starter with track record of excelling in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously driving multiple product development initiatives
  • Proven ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal and external partners
  • A creative and innovative thinker and problem-solver who can manage effectively through ambiguity and evolving strategies, while maintaining strong customer focus
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partners and launches simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for day-to-day as well as demanding conversations with partners
  • Passionate about leading and developing talent to continuously learn and grow
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, specifically agile methodologies
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent and adept at working across technical, business, and compliance stakeholders to drive the implementation of new Products and Features
  • General awareness and understanding of the B2B payments landscape
  • Comfortable with ever-changing responsibilities as the role, team, and strategy evolve
  • Familiarity with digital payment systems including, but not limited to, Tokenized Card, Check and ACH (preferred, not required)
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) (MBA preferred)


Work Environment

  • Salary range is $150,000 200,000 plus full benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and Sick Leave
