Role: Heading the Quality Control Department Responsibilities: Understanding and monitoring company quality standards & processes defined. Supervising quality control team and making sure the quality standards and processes are followed on day to day basis. Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made. Repair product if possible that fail quality standards before it gets shipped out to the customer. Reject product's if required. Improving dept. efficiency and managing backlog inventory to minimum number of days (under 3 days). Actively participate during customer QC / QA schedule gathering and sharing feedback regarding product quality. To feed the QA head with quality assurance related points. Preferred Experience and skills: Understanding of the Local Jewellery retail market Passionate about jewellery/fashion Experience in family run business will be preferred Experience in skilling people, handling larger teams and human resource orientation would be valuable Ability to work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment Computer, Excel, Excellent verbal and written communication. Data analysis and statistical aptitude, Good interpersonal skills. Qualification: SSC / HSC, Should have handled a QC inspectors previously and must have working experience in domestic market for 5 years or above. Should be experienced in studying Data/ Reports.
