- Maintain student safety on campus, upholding a safe community in accordance with the student code of conduct
- Organize and implement security measures and systems and procedures to promote structure and increased safety within the campus; assist in the development and updating of security policy and procedures guides and manuals
- Provide supervision for entering and exiting of all guests, vendors, students, and employees, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day flow of communication regarding security related concerns
- Oversee parking lot and vehicle safety on campus
- Draft, edit, write and send communications as appropriate on behalf of supervisor; prepare reports and presentations on overall security status of campus to CEO and management.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of all campus security personnel
- Provide support for special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of these, as needed by the department
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO and management Skills: * Must possess skills to be able to explain and demonstrate the essential functions of the position
