Social Impact Assessment (SIA)

• Formulate approaches for a SIA using best practices
  
• Conduct the assessment for social impacts (analyze, synthesize, and formulate)
  
• Establish risks, consequences, impacts, and future impacts
  
• Identify mitigation measures and tactical responses
  
• Formulate an action plan for implementation
  
• Socio Economic Development
  Have an understanding of socio-economic development
  Understand community demands and expectations
  Formulate strategies for community enterprise development
  Engage communities on job creation
  Proactive approach to solving social issues in the mining communities
  

Data & Analytics

• Insight into multiple types and access to social data
  
• Experience in collating / integrating multiple social data sources

Requirements

• MA Environmental Sciences
  
• MA Social Impact Assessment
  
• Minimum 10 years experience in social science work
  
• Understanding of Theory of Changes
  
• Understanding of the UN Sustainability Development Goals
  
• Understanding of World Bank and IFC standards for sustainability
