Overview:

Tekwissen the group, is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. The job opportunity below is for one of our global clients in vitro diagnostics companies specializing in the area of pre-transfusion diagnostics. We develop, manufacture, and sell products used by hospital blood banks, clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers to detect and identify certain properties of human blood prior to patient transfusion.

Job Title: Data Entry II

Location: Norcross, GA 30071

Duration: 5 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: On Site

Job Description:

The main function of a data entry specialist is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data. A typical data entry specialist is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management. Technical skills include documentation skills and time management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.

  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.

  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.

  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.

  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Examine Samples for accuracy and other requirements.

  • Use and maintain applicable sample storage materials.

  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies.

  • Work closely and communicate with other lab associates to complete daily activities efficiently.

  • Manage issues and projects; resolve escalated issues as appropriate.

  • Demonstrate superior understanding of laboratory operations.

SKILLS:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one time.

  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required). 2-4 years of work experience
