Job Description
- Western educated, trained and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with current registration and valid professional license;
- Bachelor Degree in the field of Speech Language Pathology from an accredited University/College; Master s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences or related field- from an accredited University/College;
- ASHA Certification- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC )- or equivalent similar Specialist Certification in area of specialty-advantage;
- Senior Speech Language Pathologist with specialist training, education and demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, knowledge, skills and expertise in: Medical Speech- Language Pathology, Critical Care Management, Tracheostomy and Ventilator Management; Dysphagia/Swallowing disorders- Adults and/or Pediatrics; Instrumental Assessment of Swallow Disorders: VFSS/Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Study/Vidoefluroscopy and/or FEES/Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing;
- At least 7 years of current post graduate experience in the field of Speech and Hearing Sciences/Speech-Language Pathology in a Tertiary Care Hospital ( or Rehabilitation Center ) - whereas currently working for the last 3 years as a SLP/ Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor or in a Supervisory Capacity/Senior Role;
