The Regional Business Partner Insurance Controlling (f/m/d) role is embedded in the wefox Insurance controlling team, reporting to the Head of Insurance Controlling. It collaborates with wefox Group s regional controlling teams, where sufficient scale/ capabilities have been established already, and cover countries where a local Finance organisation has not been fully built. It adds an insurance-specific perspective and expertise to all regional Finance teams.

In this role you will

• Be responsible for portfolio analyses and the preparation of profitability information for our Executive Management
• Do the monthly internal as well as external reporting on PnL actuals and technical KPIs as well as variance analysis of actuals vs. budget
• Collect quarterly forecasts and incorporate it into the management reporting
• Drive the insurance part of the planning process, support countries and be responsible for planning of countries where the local finance function is not yet fully developed
• Be the first point of contact with regards to our planning tool Anaplan
• Participate in an internal education becoming an Anaplan builder
• Support the Head of Insurance Controlling on becoming more data driven and in increasing of the quality of our insurance controlling function
• Work closely with the OPEX controlling, country controllers, country CFOs, actuaries and DNA

What you bring:

• University degree in economics, actuarial science, mathematics or the like
• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, actuarial or product departments in the insurance industry
• Analytical and techie bias
• Experience in handling data, preferable hands on experience in data analytics or data warehouse
• Non-life insurance knowledge, which is a must, Life insurance knowledge is highly appreciated
• An Independent thinking mindset combined with a not taking No for an answer attitude
• IFRS 17 knowledge
• Knowledge in Excel, PowerBI and SQL, experience with Symass is a plus
• The ability and willingness to work in fast changing/growing environments
• An Open personality with strong communication skills
• Proficient English language skills written and spoken
