Job Description
- Serve the patrons with the available food & beverages of the cafe on time
- Collect payments from customers
- Write patrons food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
- Take orders from patrons for food or beverages
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
- Prepare checks that itemize and total order costs
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
- Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
- Inform customers of daily specials
- To report on duty in the correct time in clean well laundered uniform provided by the company
- Keep the Restaurant clean and tidy always
- Check the table-chair arrangement
- To make sure all the sauce bottle lids are spotless
- Be polite and friendly to our customers at all times, serve them with a smile
- Provide assistance to children, elderly and the handicapped
- Have a fair knowledge of the menu and preparation
- To attend all department meetings and training whenever scheduled
- Make sure all the lost & found items must be handed over to security immediately
