Job Description

GlassDollar loves to find a new team member for Human / People Operations to help us grow our culture and consciously shape our human processes!

Tasks

Time to build & shape Human Processes in our eco-system

The seats to be covered are coordinating the processes and executing the efforts that have a direct impact on our team & culture something that is critically important to us to get right, and essential for us to develop organically and in the long term.

Our vision for the role - co-create with us on:

  • Launching our People Roadmap
  • Develop our soulful Hiring Scope (Matching Process)
  • Set up our Onboarding and Offboarding Journeys (Practice path for mindfulness)
  • Implement our Compensation structure (We compensate work based on value created to GD and yourself, not hours spent)
  • Maintain our Seat Map (One of our shared mental models)
  • Embedding this in a Progression frame and a Personal growth plan (To understand both parties - what does our eco-system need & what do you need to grow).
  • Sketch out the framework for Mentorship (as a vehicle to accompany personal growth and progression)
  • Establish Team Rituals (To feel connected & independent)
  • Create People & Culture content to reflect externally how we are living in our answers (MEDIUM, GD Blog & Homepage, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Outline & design our Culture Handbook

Our initial set of missions

Topics (Building Blocks) to transform into a corresponding process structure within our ecosystem.

Designing and building operational systems for and through:

  • HRIS
  • Contracting & VSIP Agreements
  • Structure Payroll
  • Expense Management
  • Work remote-first

  • are well versed in Human Ops topics and have a strong sense of how to adjust and apply your experiences to our eco-system stage and learning priorities
  • embrace efforts with ownership and a growth mindset
  • have a focus on Humans in our eco-system and care deeply about the experience of work
  • know how to consciously guide & shape an experiential culture based on shared values and mental models
  • have experience building trust within a team and are humble to help others
  • are happy writing documentation so that others can ramp up easily, and you're never a single source of failure

First and foremost you are courageous to ask the essential questions and composed to live into their answers.
