Job Description:
Quality Engineering professional position to develop, modify, apply and maintain quality protocol for launch vehicles.
Additional assignments include: Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards; coordinating supplier requirements, maintaining supplier interfaces, interfacing with internal and external customers to facilitate acceptance of supplier products; devising and implementing, evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment; designing or specifying inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducting quality as participating in continuous improvement efforts, and performing analysis to determine the corrective actions for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Individual will participate in control and disposition of nonconforming products, causal analysis & corrective action, correction action effectiveness/reliability, design for manufacturability and inspection planning.
This position is responsible for ensuring that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
Basic Requirements
Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' experience working with Quality
Previous experience in an aerospace environment working on metallic welded structures, composite materials and additive manufacturing
Ability to use associated test measurement and diagnostic equipment as necessary in performance of duties
Capable of developing, qualifying, and approving procedures;
Capable of interpreting codes, standards, specifications, and procedures
