- On a daily basis, this position will entail reconciliation of cash, positions, market values, trade breaks, P&L analysis, corporate action analysis, monitoring of cash flows, and responding to inquiries
- On a monthly basis this position will entail NAV calculations, administrator reconciliations, production of month end sign off packages included NAV, P&L, trial balance, fund allocations, and investor statements
- The candidate is also expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of the team systems and processes to ensure continual efficiency gains and process improvements.
- Assist Portfolio Operations Lead in ensuring the associates understand process updates
- Specialist should be able to regularly collaborate with Portfolio Operations Lead about process changes that maybe of help to improve the efficiency of the group
Requirements
- The candidate should have an understanding of general fund accounting principles including management and performance fee calculations, master and feeder fund structures, P&L allocations, and performance returns
- The ideal candidate should have an understanding of financial products including global equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income
- Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output
- Must be highly organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills and able to prioritize activities effectively
- Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented and a team player with the understanding of how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
- Computer and internet proficient
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor s/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business course
- At least 2-year experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be an advantage.
