Job Description
- Provide Overview concept designs for BHS installations, modifications and re-routing scenarios and advise on the suitability of the proposed installations received from the main contractor. Ensure the efficiency, quality and performance of the new Baggage Handling Systems to be installed by the appointed BHS sub-contractor in existing Terminals T1/T2/T3/T4. Coordinate the interface of the new BHS installations with those being retained. Review and closely monitor the BHS installation schedule and ensure the contractor's adherence to the agreed schedule and the overall handover of the completed terminal facilities. Confirm suitability of the Contractor's Testing and Commissioning Program and means of validating the newly install BHS performance with the 3rd Party commissioning agency. Coordinate ORAT requirements in respect to the handling of test baggage during passenger trials Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. Identifies discrepancies in results. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
