Dot Net Developer (SDET)

This is a remote position.

A true hybrid role in the world of software development, the SDET is that engineer who doesn't stay focused in a single product development lane, but is focused on the quality of code across an organization. This role requires an individual willing to dive into a myriad of technologies to find solutions for out-of-bounds problems regularly. This may entail building automation frameworks from scratch, customizing out-of-the-box solutions, creating build plans and processes, setting up build automation and build integration, manipulating data or network connectivity, scripting low-level machine interactions, or emulating the finicky nature of a maniacal user. In the end, it is a detail-oriented professional with a critical eye focused on problem solving by using every tool at their disposal. A true engineer with a jack-of-all-trades mindset aligned to solving all of the problems of a development shop – be they improving the process, efficiency, or quality – as it pertains to bringing a quality product to market.

Essential Functions:

• Development of Test automation Framework
• Development of connections in the build pipeline, and interactions with systems connected to it
• Development of internal applications to support the development process
• Build tests that reside inside our test frameworks
• Build custom testing solutions to our products
• Build customized solutions for testing strategic business initiatives for clients
• Collaboratively work with product line developers and engineers to adapt test strategies and patterns
• Development of Operations Applications and Solutions
• Identify and solve operational issues in the build and test pipelines
• Provide operational support for the dev-ops pipeline

Required Skills:

• 3+ years development experience in .Net technologies like C#, MVC, ASP.Net Core
• Good understanding of product development
• Hands on experience in writing tests with one or more of the following technologies: Selenium, Appium, MS Build xUnit, MS Test and NUnit
• Good Understanding of web APIs and REST
• Agile development lifecycle experience
• Experience in T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience in MS Test/NUnit
• Working exposer in Jenkins/Bamboo/Docker/Containers
• Experience in MS Build
• Understanding of HTML protocols and Web applications
