Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute deployment of technical architect at an enterprise level for Windows / Linux server platform storage and end user computing.

• Install, configure and maintain load balancing for Application and Web servers, load balancing for SQL Servers , web caching servers (e.g. NGINX), data warehousing solutions, Antivirus and Antimalware solutions, backup operations.

• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures, Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies

• Install, configure and maintain Internet Information Services

• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures

• Perform technical root cause and cost benefit analysis to support decision making processes

• Establish and execute performance capacity and availability reporting and monitoring solutions for the enterprise

• Design and maintain security backup and redundancy strategies

• Evaluate private vs public cloud option for new requirement and develop new solutions partnering with stakeholders and as needed implement solutions

• Install and support maintain information technology assets

• Provide enterprise advanced level support for mission critical infrastructure

• Review systems and ensure they are protected and meet security requirement

• Standardize and document all processes/procedures

• Review opportunities and provide continues improvement for services rendered to customers

• Asset in planning coordinating and consulting vendor and clients for hardware/software purchases products services and support

• Prior experience migrating to windows in an enterprise size management

• Review organize schedule/prioritize and coordinate various operational activities and projects.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Sound experience on MS Active Directory DNS, GPO and DHCP.

• Understanding of and experience with Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory & Domain architecture, NTFS permissions, DNS, OS security, and systems patching.

• Demonstrated cloud experience in Azure & Its related services

• Proven knowledge in Hyper-V Virtualization.

• Expert in Exchange messaging and collaboration services.

• Microsoft System Centre Operation Manager, Configuration Manger, Virtual Machine Manager.

• Microsoft Server load balancing & Server clustering .

• Expert in Desktop and Application virtualization technologies ( Citrix ).

• Expert in Failover clustering Solutions, File & Print servers

• Must have experience with using systems monitoring software to collect and manage events and system status.

• Microsoft certification in Windows server/Client technologies are preferred.

• Proven track record of defining and delivering enterprise level architectural standards and solutions for systems and networks.

• Excellent knowledge in managing Windows, Linux, storage and & backup infrastructure in virtual & physical environment.

• Good understanding on Databases – Oracle & MS SQL

• Strong Knowledge on HPE Hardware, Blade Enclosure technologies.

• Firm understanding of Linux & Backup Technologies (CommVault), 3Par Storage.

• Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner
