- Directs and Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Stock Control unit.Performs supervisory duties at the level established by Management for the position.
- Introduces new items into stores stock inventory by arrangements with user departments.Assists supervisor in arranging initial supply of materials spares and equipment for newly acquired equipment by raising indents on purchasing.Allocates Vocab numbers for Engineering Technical stores.Reviews stores stock items to ensure that correct materials and spares are maintained and eliminates any obsolete, redundant and unwanted materials as necessary.Reviews written-off materials and prepares necessary documentation for disposal.
- Assists the Stock control Officer in controlling approximately 22,000 line items of stores stock materials, including spares and equipment in ACS Maintenance Stores.Conducts constant reviews of stores stock items and replenishes items whose stock balances have fallen to/or below the predetermined re-order levels ensuring that items are properly recorded, both quantity and value-wise through daily checking of records prepared by him and his subordinates on computer screens and outputs.
