Lawyer

• Represent the company in court handling criminal civil and commercial cases ensuring the company s interests are protected.
  
• Draft review and redraft contracts to ensure compliance with local laws and protect the company s legal and financial interests.
  
• Ensure the company adheres to all relevant Qatari laws and regulations particularly labor laws and provide guidance on legal matters to prevent noncompliance.
  
• Provide legal advice to management on various issues including risk management litigation strategies and contractual obligations.
  
• Interact with local ministries and government bodies to manage legal filings obtain necessary approvals and resolve regulatory issues.
  
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings briefs and agreements with a focus on accuracy and compliance with local laws.
  
• Lead negotiations in dispute resolution processes aiming to settle matters amicably and avoid litigation where possible.
  
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and provide informed legal opinions.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Law from a reputable university
  
• Must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid iqama.
  
• 5 to 7 years of legal experience including at least 2 years in Qatar.
  
• Native Arabic speaker with an excellent command of English.
  
• Indepth knowledge of Qatari labor law.
  
• Ability to represent the company in court.
  
• Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
  
• Expertise in litigation (criminal and civil cases).
  
• Familiarity with procedures in various ministries.
  
• Strong background in contract review drafting and redrafting.
  
• Experience in commercial law is an advantage.
  
• Strong negotiation skills.
