Agronomy Operations Supervisor - Golf Saudi

About the role:

• Supervise and execute all aspects of agronomic operations including turfgrass maintenance irrigation management pest control and fertilization programs.
• Lead and mentor a team of groundskeepers ensuring adherence to schedules quality standards and safety protocols.
• Implement and monitor maintenance schedules to ensure the golf courses are consistently in top condition for play.
• Manage and maintain all equipment related to agronomy operations ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Assist in developing and managing the department budget optimizing resources and expenditures effectively.
• Ensure all activities comply with environmental regulations and promote sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of agronomic activities prepare reports for management and participate in planning meetings.
• The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Agronomy Horticulture Turfgrass Management or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in golf course agronomy or groundskeeping with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of turfgrass species irrigation systems pest management and fertilizer applications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
• Understanding of budget management and resource optimization.
• Certification in pesticide application and irrigation management preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
