Job Summary
- Serve as a program manager for procurement desk review process.
- Develop procurement review procedures. Coordinate and conduct assigned reviews ensuring completion of procurement review tool with school food authorities (SFAs) participating in the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
- Develop process for receiving and reviewing vendor paid lists. Review vendor paid lists following federal requirements. Provide technical assistance to SFAs regarding procurement methods and written procurement plan. Conduct data analytics.
- Prepare written reports. Research and respond to inquiries. Assist with application approvals.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail. Proficiency with office software applications e.g. word processing spreadsheets and ability to learn other custom software applications including webbased systems and nutrient analysis. Ability to keep multiple projects moving forward at the same time while meeting deadlines.
Three years of experience in program coordination/management
Experience working with federal government regulation implementation.
Bachelors Degree
Must have:
- Procurement Management: Experience in managing procurement processes particularly within a regulated environment.
- Federal Regulation Compliance: Proven ability to implement and ensure compliance with federal government regulations specifically related to procurement.
- Program Coordination/Management: At least three years of experience in coordinating or managing programs with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the job including reviews reports and technical assistance.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets with the ability to quickly learn custom software applications including webbased systems and nutrient analysis tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills especially in preparing reports providing technical assistance and responding to inquiries.
- Bachelor s Degree: A bachelor s degree is required demonstrating a foundational level of education and understanding of the field.
