Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages the flow of the delivery of materials to customers through the management of pick tickets before and after deliveries.
- Opens and Closing out orders in the computer system that have shipped.
- Assisting customers clients vendors and potential customers with inquiries. Including responds to telephone inquiries from customers regarding delivery of shipments
- Processes UPS FED EX and other shipments.
- Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time for each delivery to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Compares/Identify information and counts weighs or measures products of incoming and outgoing to ensure Bill of Landing.
- Confers with sales coordinators to confirm status of scheduled projects.
- Prepares shipping/receiving documents. Maintains appropriate documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1 year of related experience (required)
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Computer Knowledge (MS office) (Required)
- Knowledge of FEDEX UPS software (preferred)
- Valid DL or ID
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) (Preferred)
- Organization Skills (Required)
- 35 WPM type
- Inventory (preferred)
