Position: Manager Retail Store Sales and Operations

Location: New Delhi (NCR) India

Job Summary:

Ankur Lighting is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our retail store sales and operations across the New Delhi (NCR) area. The ideal candidate will be the driving force behind ensuring that all our retail outlets operate seamlessly maintaining the highest standards of store condition product display stock availability and customer experience. As the AGM you will be integral to our mission of providing customers with not just lighting solutions but an unparalleled buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across all retail locations in the New Delhi (NCR) region ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Ensure that the presentation of the store and the display of products meet company standards and are conducive to a superior shopping experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and displayed managing the supply chain effectively from warehouse to storefront.
  • Drive sales targets and performance goals ensuring that each store is meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Cultivate an environment focused on exceptional customer service ensuring that each customer receives personalized attention and service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase footfall and conversion rates within the stores.
  • Train and mentor store managers and staff fostering a culture of excellence teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to align instore promotions with broader sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to maintain high standards of store appearance cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage staffing requirements including recruitment scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with the utmost professionalism ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the aftersales support team to provide comprehensive service to customers postpurchase.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of retail management experience with a track record of managing multiple store locations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams across different sites.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff customers and corporate teams.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales planning merchandising and inventory management.
  • Proven capability in providing highlevel customer service and training staff to meet customer service standards.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and CRM systems.
  • Flexibility to travel between store locations and work varied hours/days including nights weekends and holidays as needed.
