Job Description:

Essential

• Extensive experience of building and deploying solutions in GCP using infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform Google Cloud Deployment Manager etc.
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps).
• Proven scripting or programming experience for automation (Python Bash PowerShell etc.).
• Experience of monitoring and logging tools for cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Networking troubleshooting and configuration.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices in cloud including identify and access management network security encryption and incident response
• Understanding of Agile principles e.g. Kanban and SCRUM.
• Operational experience of supporting Cloud environments.
• At least one cloud certification eg. Associate Cloud Engineer

Desirable

• Any cloud architect / developer certification (GCP).
• Proven experience of micro services and containerbased systems (Docker Kubernetes).
• ITIL experience.
• SCRUM/Agile certification.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with cloud cost optimisation and governance.
