We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Field Compliance Coordinator/ Field HSE Advisor with relevant Oil & Gas expertise to join the Upstream HSE team. As a successful candidate you will be responsible for the operational adherence and compliance to company safety/health/environment standards in addition to implementing developing and improving tailored inhouse policies and procedures. The position requires a wide knowledge and experience in HSE and compliance processes/policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform HSE and compliance duties including but not limited to:
Conducting audits & inspections per the Company HSE Management System and Providing advice and consultation to Upstream management as requested.
Assisting Upstream organizations in preparing for corporate HSE reviews such as loss prevention compliance reviews environmental management system operational excellence etc.
Facilitating and leading incident investigations including interviewing witnesses data gathering and verification and implement a root cause analysis utilizing advance incident investigations methodologies such as TapRoot or equivalent.
Lead review and participate in the various safety studies/activities such as: PHAs HAZOPs JSAs and SIMOPS process reviews.
Participate in or lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) studies.
Act as a mentor for newly hired Upstream HSE professionals to develop their skills in both technical and leadership.
Develop HSE incident analysis and prepare reports addressing areas of concerns and improvements.
Participate in developing and promoting on or offjob safety educational programs to address safety issues or concerns. Assigned tasks may include: preparation of articles for publication development of promotional materials and delivery of presentations.
Develop all required programs and processes to promote and enhance traffic safety culture within upstream BL operations.
Requirements
A Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Safety Environmental Science or equivalent.
A minimum of 1315 years experience working in operations for oil gas petrochemical plants or refineries with clear evidence of having delivered major impact in this capacity.
Valid Incident investigation certification (TapRoot is preferable).
Must have Human Factor and Behavioral programs experience.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision on relatively unstructured tasks.
Must have the ability to demonstrate and produce top quality written reports.
Mus have an excellent presentation skill.
