The State of Michigan is looking for: System Analyst 5
Interviews: MS Teams video interview with camera ON. 2nd round interviews may be held inperson (candidates must be available for an inperson interview).
Duration: 1 year with extension likely
Position location: Lansing MI. This position will require inoffice work for the first 12 months for onboarding. Following this a hybrid schedule will be offered requiring Monday and Tuesday inoffice and remote work Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Candidates must be able to work completely onsite for the first 12 months before transitioning to the hybrid work schedule (onsite 2 days per week).
Local candidates (strongly preferred) or nonlocal (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the onsite/hybrid schedule)
Clear and concise communication skills required.

NEW Interview Attachment Functionality: When you receive an interview request you will now receive a notification if an attachment is required with the request. As previously required for the SOMI a current screenshot photo of your candidate is required when they receive an interview request. The State of Michigan (SOM) Department of Technology Management & Budget (DTMB) Center for Shared Solutions (CSS) eMichigan team is seeking to hire up to 6 additional fulltime systems analysts for 12 years to conduct reviews for adherence with the SOM Digital Standards for Websites and Applications which include standards for branding and digital accessibility. The contract has potential to extend beyond 2 years based upon SOMs needs.
Conduct reviews of SOM websites and applications for adherence with the SOM Digital Standards for Websites and Applications
o Test for digital accessibility using manual and automated tools including screen reader and other assistive technology
o Review for adherence with additional standards including branding
o Perform testing on desktop and mobile devices
o Thoroughly document review results
Provide results to application support teams and stakeholders and meet with teams to explain results
Work closely with eMichigan team members to ensure processes are followed and optimized
Other duties as assigned
A certificate or degree in any field required Information Technology (IT) preferred
Experience will be considered in lieu of a certificate or degree
1 year of testing applications for digital accessibility (preferred 3 years)
1 year working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
Advanced knowledge of digital accessibility testing methodologies
