This small but ambitious organization is on a rapid expansion trajectory having recently undergone a complete rebranding. With a focus on innovation and pushing boundaries in the industrial sector they re seeking a talented Web Developer to elevate their digital presence and support their exciting growth initiatives.
Job Description
As a Web Developer you ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company s digital identity. You ll maintain and enhance their WordPressbased website create innovative microsites for subbrands and push the boundaries of web design in the industrial sector. This position offers a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise allowing you to directly impact the company s expansion and brand evolution. You ll collaborate closely with the marketing team to align web presence with brand strategy ensuring the digital face of the company reflects its innovative spirit and growth
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the existing WordPress website
- Develop new features and functionalities to enhance user experience and support business growth
- Create microsites or simple websites for subbrands as needed
- Implement innovative designs and features to push boundaries in industrial web presence
- Ensure website performance security and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with marketing team to align web presence with brand strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience in WordPress development including both frontend and backend
- Strong skills in HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP
- Experience with ecommerce website development
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English
Scope:
- Parttime role 25 hours per week
- Monday through Friday 9AM 2PM Council Bluffs IA
Proven experience in WordPress development, including both front-end and back-end Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Experience with e-commerce website development Familiarity with SEO best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills in English
