Job Description |
What you will be doing: Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) 2nd Shift - Tear down and determine the extent of troubles
- Repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanisms or replace worn or defective parts
- Reassemble following standard and prescribed safety regulations
- Have a basic understanding of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode)
- Adjust equipment to required specifications and check to assure effective operation
- Check sequence of machine cycle and determine type of machine malfunction
- Make all necessary repairs applying machine repair theory along with electrical theory
- Perform electrical test operations
- Work from complex schematic diagrams manuals and testing procedures
- Troubleshoot all defective printed circuit assembly boards
- Perform similar or associated electrical or mechanical duties as directed
- Detect and report all unusual cases to proper supervision
- Use judgment to comply with instructions or prescribed routines and to make decisions
Experience you will need: Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) 2nd Shift - Journeyman or three (3) years of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
- Candidates residing within the immediate area of the Syracuse facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position
- Preferred: Four (4) years or more of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
- Preferred: Background in machining and electrical equipment
- Preferred: Twoyear degree in electronics with mechanical experience or Military electronics experience
- Preferred: Experience with hydraulics
