Job Description:
Position Overview: The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role requires a personable and professional individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills a positive attitude and the ability to manage a busy front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional demeanor
- Provide basic and accurate information inperson and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Receive sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry filing and document preparation
- Coordinate with office staff to ensure smooth office operations
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Handle basic bookkeeping and recordkeeping tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- Handson experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
