Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning analysis and reporting functions of our company. This position involves working closely with various departments to gather financial data analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset excellent communication skills and a passion for the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets forecasts and longterm financial plans. Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual performance summaries. Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis for production processes raw materials and other operational expenses. Identify costsaving opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
• Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis on financial statements to explain deviations from budgets and forecasts. Provide insights on financial performance and suggest corrective actions.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with various departments including operations sales and marketing to gather financial data and support their financial needs. Provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives and projects.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions and strategic initiatives. Provide scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies procedures and external regulations. Assist with audits and other compliance activities as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve financial processes tools and systems to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA CPA) is a plus.
• 35 years of experience in financial analysis preferably in the food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling forecasting and budgeting techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Famous etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial insights to nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
