Peppermint Robotics has teams based out of its offices in Pune (INDIA) Dubai (UAE) and Austin (USA) and is looking to add leaders and builders to its HQ team at Pune (INDIA)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Floor Manager to oversee our assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes maintaining highquality standards and leading a team of production staff. You will play a crucial role in driving productivity safety and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Daily Operations: Supervise the assembly line to ensure smooth workflow ontime production and adherence to schedules.

Team Leadership: Lead train and motivate a team of production staff fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.

Quality Assurance: Monitor production quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain product integrity.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements implementing lean manufacturing principles where applicable.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations promoting a culture of safety among staff.

Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure adequate materials are available for production.

Performance Monitoring: Track production metrics and KPIs preparing regular reports for management review and analysis.

Troubleshooting: Address production issues promptly working with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.

Training & Development: Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and ongoing development opportunities to enhance their skills.

Management: To manage and distribute workload on various assembly lines to optimise the output and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 05 years of experience in production management or supervisory roles within a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills; proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices quality control standards and safety regulations.

Relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
