Overview

As a Team Leader in Telesales you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of telesales representatives to drive sales and achieve targets. You will be responsible for providing guidance support and motivation to the team to ensure the effective delivery of telesales strategies and customer satisfaction. Your role will be instrumental in driving the teams performance optimizing sales processes and fostering a dynamic and productive sales environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and manage a team of telesales representatives to ensure the achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement effective telesales strategies in alignment with the sales objectives and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance sales metrics and call quality to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide ongoing training coaching and feedback to enhance the teams sales skills product knowledge and customer service proficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with telesales regulations company policies and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies share insights and optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Oversee the recruitment onboarding and performance evaluation of telesales team members.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track analyze and report on sales activities forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Contribute to the development of sales plans pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends market dynamics and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement innovation and excellence within the telesales team.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes share best practices and enhance overall sales performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports performance dashboards and recommendations to senior management.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience in telesales with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of telesales techniques customer relationship management and sales best practices.
  • Strong leadership coaching and team development skills with a focus on driving performance and results.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems sales analytics tools and MS Office suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to influence negotiate and present effectively.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently in a fastpaced sales environment.
  • Sound understanding of sales regulations compliance requirements and ethical standards.
  • Proactive selfmotivated and resultoriented approach to sales management and team leadership.
  • Experience in conducting sales forecasting market analysis and competitor research.
  • Resourceful problemsolving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Keen attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accuracy and quality in all sales activities.
  • Ability to adapt to change embrace innovation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Professional certifications in sales management or leadership will be a plus.
