Overview:
The LMS Expert plays a critical role in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting the organizations learning and development initiatives. This role involves overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of the LMS ensuring its optimal functionality and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the LMS platform including user access course creation and system configurations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop learning solutions
- Ensure the seamless delivery of online and instructorled training programs through the LMS
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LMS users
- Analyze learning data and generate reports to support decisionmaking and continuous improvement
- Stay updated on LMS trends and best practices to enhance system effectiveness
- Train and support LMS users including administrators instructors and learners
- Manage integrations between the LMS and other learning tools or systems
- Contribute to the design and development of engaging eLearning content
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create highquality learning materials
- Assist in evaluating and selecting new LMS or learning technologies
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
- Participate in LMSrelated projects and initiatives
- Conduct regular assessments of the LMS to ensure optimal performance
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Instructional Design Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience in LMS administration and management
- Demonstrated expertise in technical troubleshooting and user support for LMS platforms
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and eLearning best practices
- Proficiency in learning analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of SCORM and other eLearning standards
- Experience with learning content authoring tools and multimedia development
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and drive innovation in learning solutions
- Certifications in LMS administration or related areas are a plus
- Understanding of accessibility standards for online learning materials
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality learning experiences
